It would be wonderful to live in a culture that respects all varieties of sexual predilections and choices whether experimental or fetish and everything in between. We sometimes do and most of the time we don’t. However, we here at AJAX Books wish all worlds were a little more open to the ideas of a variety of relationship styles.
Not all of us here at AJAX Books are sexually diverse. Some of us are happily married and completely monogamous. Some of us have been single all our lives and wouldn’t trade the freedom of sex partners for all the world. Then there are a couple of us who like to try different things in their lives.
These are the experimenters in our group. The ethical sluts.
One of our group read a wonderful book called The Ethical Slut by Dossie Easton and Janet Hardy. One of the early exercises of this wonderful book is to perform an act of love for sluts.
Readers are encouraged to write a list of all the people you know who are not monogamous, including characters from TV, movies, books, and so on. How do you feel about each of them? What can you learn that is positive and negative from him or her?
